Privacy Policy
For the Chinese Checkers app. Last updated 20 August 2026.
The short version. This app collects no personal information, has no accounts, shows no adverts, contains no tracking or analytics, and sends nothing anywhere. It has no server behind it and works with no internet connection.
What the app stores
The app saves two things, and both stay on your device in the app's own storage:
- Your game in progress — the position of the marbles, whose turn it is, the players' names as you typed them, and the rules you chose, so you can put the game down and pick it up again.
- Your settings — such as animation speed, sound, and whether the board is flat or angled.
This information is never transmitted, never shared, and is not visible to the developer or to anyone else. Deleting the app removes it.
What the app does not do
- It does not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal detail
- It does not use accounts, sign-in, or cloud saves
- It does not contain advertising, analytics, or tracking of any kind
- It does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location
- It makes no network requests, so nothing about your play leaves your device
Information Apple may provide
The app itself sends nothing. Separately from the app, Apple may give the developer aggregate, anonymous statistics about the App Store listing — such as how many times it has been downloaded, or crash reports, if you have chosen in your device settings to share diagnostics with developers. That information comes from Apple, is not linked to any individual, and is governed by Apple's own privacy policy rather than this one.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no information at all, it collects nothing from children either.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
